Renegade journalism Lets talk about the mainstream rules of journalism. Lets imagine for one second that all is organized into perfect sentences, paragraphs, order. Everything we learn in school is the be all end all of writing. The "Rules of writing". I follow them, but why? Lets get outside of the mainstream journalistic culture. Overlap thoughts with poetry with essays with random ideas flying around the paper like a desert sandstorm. Using words thoughts and emotions that would scare even the most radical thinker. Blinding the eyes of the mainstream with realism not sensationalism, truth not bias intrepretation, emotion not motion. To say what you think and feel not what you are paid to think and feel or what you think you're supposed to think and feel. To muckrake is to search for and expose misconduct in public life. Lets muckrake. Lets search, find, expose.
